- An opportunity has arisen to work for an award-winning, industry leader as an Application Support Specialist. You will be an integral part of a small team of specialists responsible for supporting a wide and varied range of business applications across the entire estate.
Technical skills required
Microsoft Dynamics CRM, AX 2012, and Dynamics O365 (Finance and Operations preferred)
Microsoft Windows 10 Operating Systems
Microsoft Server Administration
Microsoft Administration Suite - Azure / 365 and Exchange Admin Centers
Microsoft Office 2013/2016 and Office 365 application suites
Microsoft SQL Server
Duties
Working closely with the Service Desk, Technical Support, IT Infrastructure, and Application Development teams to provide a timely and efficient resolution of application-related incidents and service requests.
Help reinforce and promote ITIL principles within the department, regularly contributing to many aspects of IT Service Management.
Work with and share live issues with 3rd line teams (IT Infrastructure and Application Development). Perform all possible checks and investigations and update incident logs appropriately in order to minimise time spent by those teams resolving these problems
Author and maintain the application, process, and user documentation, enabling knowledge sharing amongst IT teams and the wider business.
Assist in conducting training sessions to develop the skills of team members and help colleagues fully benefit from the applications they use.
The successful candidate will have exposure to supporting enterprise application within a large organisation.
Location - 3 days office (Cannon Street - Central London), 2 days remote
