Infrastructure Portfolio Manager
Hybrid Working 3 days in 2 days WFH in London
We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join a high-performing Technology Portfolio Team. This strategic leadership role is responsible for overseeing a dynamic portfolio of initiatives supporting the Infrastructure Operations unit—an area critical to delivering core IT services, including server and virtualisation platforms, storage, identity and access management, system monitoring, and messaging and collaboration technologies.
You’ll lead the planning and execution of a wide range of projects, programmes, and BAU activities, ensuring delivery aligns with business and technology goals. This is an exciting opportunity to work across teams and functions, driving operational excellence and advancing key infrastructure capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Operations leadership to define objectives, priorities, and execution strategies.
- Oversee delivery across multiple projects and programmes, managing interdependencies, risks, and overall alignment with portfolio vision.
- Serve as the primary liaison between delivery teams, governance bodies, and stakeholders to ensure visibility and issue resolution.
- Lead portfolio-level reporting on performance, risks, and progress for senior leadership.
- Drive portfolio governance activities including steering committees, prioritisation forums, and cross-portfolio coordination.
- Support financial planning, resource allocation, and capacity management in partnership with Finance and PMO teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven track record in managing infrastructure portfolios including virtualisation, storage, identity & access management, and operations platforms.
- Strong ability to manage portfolios across strategic, operational, and BAU initiatives.
- Experience in portfolio financial planning, reporting, and capacity management.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Deep understanding of IT service delivery, infrastructure dependencies, and operational frameworks
