Business Analyst - Digital

Are you a digitally-savvy Business Analyst who thrives in fast-paced environments like e-commerce or betting platforms?

We’re working with a leading professional services client seeking a confident, forward-thinking IT Business Analyst to join their agile, tech-led transformation journey. If you're passionate about digital efficiency, process improvement, and making a measurable impact, this role could be the one for you.

  • Role: IT Business Analyst (permanent)

  • Salary: £50-55,000

  • Location: Ipswich

  • Industry: Professional services (legal sector, mid-tier)

In this position, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping digital solutions across a wide range of internal projects. You’ll be part of a collaborative Product Delivery Team, driving technical change and innovation at every level of the business.

What’s in it for you?

  • Work on high-impact projects with real visibility and stakeholder engagement

  • A flexible, hybrid working model that respects work-life balance

  • A modern approach to benefits including private healthcare, generous holiday package, profit share, pension contributions, gym subsidy, and enhanced family leave

  • A progressive, inclusive working culture committed to development and diversity

  • Clear career progression within a growing, tech-focused IT function

What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead end-to-end business analysis, partnering closely with stakeholders and developers to gather and document requirements, map and improve processes, and ensure the delivery of impactful IT change projects using Agile methodologies. You’ll:

  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories

  • Support strategic initiatives through data analysis and trend identification

  • Use tools like UML, process maps, wireframes, and prototypes

  • Collaborate with test leads and developers throughout project lifecycles

  • Ensure documentation, QA, and stakeholder communications are thorough and accurate

This role suits someone with a strong grasp of modern digital platforms, especially those with experience in fast-moving, high-traffic environments like e-commerce or online betting.

What we’re looking for

  • Naturally curious, with a strong analytical mindset

  • Confident communicator able to bridge tech and non-tech teams

  • Self-starter with excellent documentation and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working in agile environments, particularly in high-volume or transactional digital spaces

  • Bonus if you’ve worked with data visualisation tools, Visio, or similar
