- We are proud to be working alongside our client, a global Accountancy Firm, who are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their business. They are based in London and offer a flexible work from home policy.
This is a hands-off position, and you will be responsible for the management of a team of 4 IT Professionals.
The firm are in the midst of a large project moving from public to private cloud, so knowledge of Azure/AWS is essential for this position.
In addition, responsibilities include:
Work with Enterprise Architecture to implement a highly scalable, automated and available cloud platform aligned with the Future State Enterprise Architecture
Work with Head of IT Operations to look at the future state of IT Operations
Manage, mentor and maintain the Operations team and offering expertise and guidance on private and public cloud queries.
Partner with Development teams, IT Security, Support and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver and maintain a cloud platform with associated DevOps practices
Form part of the technical leadership team that will deliver the migration from on premises to Cloud services over the next 24 months
Create the capabilities required to utilize automation practices for initializing, provisioning and optimizing systems, and facilitate infrastructure orchestration - embracing self-service and autonomy
Essential skills required:
You have strong knowledge of Windows, Azure & AWS infrastructures
You are passionate about innovation and love leading technological change
Experience with all aspects of cloud service models and application delivery such as PaaS, Serverless and Containerization infrastructure
Strong supplier management skill
