Lead Network Engineer
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)
Salary: £80,000 - £98,000 (Depending on Experience)
Are you an experienced Network Engineer looking for a role where you can take ownership of enterprise network infrastructure within a leading international law firm?
We are seeking a Lead Network Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership across the design, support, security, and continual improvement of the firm’s network environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining secure, resilient, and high-performing network services across office, cloud, and remote access environments.
Working closely with Infrastructure and Security teams, you will act as a senior escalation point, support key technology projects, mentor engineers, and help shape the future of network services.
- Experience
Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong experience in a senior/lead network engineering role within an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including enterprise wireless solutions (Cisco WLC or Meraki).
• Strong experience with Cisco ISE, including authentication and access control.
• Experience supporting and managing Palo Alto firewalls and network security solutions.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, LAN/WAN, segmentation, and high availability.
• Experience with cloud networking, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and provide technical leadership across projects.
Experience within legal, professional services, financial services, or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
