We're working with a prestigious international law firm looking for a talented Platform Engineer to join their global IT function in London. If you're someone who enjoys building smart, secure, and scalable infrastructure through code, this could be your next move.


The Essentials



  • Role: Platform Engineer

  • Location: Central London (hybrid working model - 3 days in the office)

What you'll be doing



  • Designing and building infrastructure pipelines and scripts to automate delivery across public and private cloud platforms

  • Working with teams across infrastructure, security, and applications to identify and implement automation opportunities

  • Creating reusable solutions and mentoring others on infrastructure-as-code best practices

  • Supporting key cloud platforms (particularly Azure), integrating with tools like ServiceNow, and enhancing operational resilience

  • Contributing to cloud governance, documentation, and technical standards across the firm


What you'll bring



  • Previous experience working as a Platform Engineer/DevOps Engineer within mid to large scale multinational professional service environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD

  • Experience automating into public cloud providers

  • Current experience working with Microsoft Azure

  • Experience developing pipelines and scripts

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for automation and continual improvement


Nice to have



  • Microsoft Azure Certification, preferred

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, PowerShell, python
