12-month fixed-term contract

In this exciting senior Network Engineer position, you will be working for a global law firm specialising in private capital and complex commercial matters.
You’ll be responsible for both maintaining their existing LAN/WAN environment and delivering key network projects—ranging from office moves and infrastructure upgrades to security enhancements and cloud integrations. You will also mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with IT security and operations teams to ensure the network remains resilient, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices.
Skills & Experience
- At least 5 years in a senior or lead network engineer role
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE, FortiGate, Palo Alto, and VeloCloud
- Clear examples of owning network elements in projects — not just supporting them
- Technical certifications such as:
- Cisco (CCNP or above)
- Fortinet (NSE4/5)
- Palo Alto (PCNSE)
- Microsoft Azure (AZ-700, AZ-104 or AZ-305)
- Experience in legal, finance, or other regulated environments
- Evidence of authoring HLD/LLD documentation
