The Role
We're working with a mid-tier law firm in Central London to appoint a permanent IT Training Manager. This hybrid role (requiring 3 days in the office) will see you lead a small training function, deliver tech onboarding and upskilling, and partner with IT and business teams on tech-led change.
You’ll be responsible for shaping training strategy while remaining hands-on—delivering sessions, creating engaging content, and improving user confidence across a range of legal and business applications.

Core Responsibilities & Tech Stack
- Lead the training function, managing team performance and development
- Deliver hands-on training sessions—onboarding, skills workshops, and systems rollouts
- Work closely with IT and the business to shape tech adoption, improve user engagement, and support projects
- Own training content and learning materials across tools such as:
- Microsoft 365 (especially Word)
- NetDocuments (DMS)
- Aderant (PMS), Peppermint (CRM), HighQ, SharePoint, Bundledocs, Definely
- Represent the training function in meetings and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives
- Ensure training aligns with support trends, change initiatives, and user needs
Soft Skills & What You’ll Bring
- Prior experience in legal or professional services is essential
- Strong communication and presentation skills—able to explain complex topics in plain English
- A hands-on, flexible approach—you’ll lead the team but also deliver training directly
- A natural problem solver and collaborator, able to bridge gaps between technical teams and end users
