£100,000 to £115,000 | London | Hybrid (3 days office, 2 remote)
Have you successfully delivered large-scale, global cloud migrations from start to finish? Are you a hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys turning architectural plans into fully operational cloud environments?
We are recruiting for a leading international professional services organisation seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join its global IT team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex, international cloud transformation projects, working closely with Infrastructure Architects and Platform Engineering teams.

What will you be doing?
- Delivering end-to-end migrations from on-premise infrastructure into Microsoft Azure across multiple international locations.
- Working alongside Infrastructure Architects to implement agreed cloud solutions.
- Taking ownership of the technical execution of migration projects, from initial preparation through to deployment, cutover and post-migration optimisation.
- Managing and supporting enterprise cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Working with Platform Engineering teams to improve automation, standardisation and cloud operations.
- Identifying and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities, performance issues and deployment challenges.
- Ensuring cloud environments meet security, compliance, resilience and disaster recovery requirements.
- Optimising cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability and cost.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience delivering complete, large-scale cloud migration projects within a global organisation.
- Demonstrable involvement throughout the full migration lifecycle, rather than responsibility for isolated elements of a programme.
- Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering experience, ideally including Azure Migrate.
- Extensive experience with enterprise on-premise infrastructure, including VMware, Cisco UCS and Dell EMC.
- Knowledge of networking technologies including Cisco ACI, F5, Palo Alto firewalls and SD-WAN.
- Experience with cloud automation, configuration management and infrastructure security.
- Exposure to Terraform, PowerShell, Kubernetes or similar technologies would be advantageous.
- Experience collaborating with architects and international infrastructure teams.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, delivery-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Important: This is a hands-on engineering and implementation position, not an architecture or design role.
Candidates must demonstrate successful delivery of substantial global cloud migrations, rather than involvement in individual workstreams or smaller standalone projects.
