IT Cyber Security Specialist
Location: London | Hybrid: 3 days in office (4 days during probation) | Salary: £95,000–£100,000 DOE | Permanent
We are recruiting for an experienced IT Cyber Security Specialist to join the Infrastructure Engineering team of a leading international law firm.
This is a hands-on role covering cybersecurity, infrastructure security, incident response, threat monitoring and vulnerability management, with responsibility for continually improving the firm's global security posture.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support cyber incident response and investigations.
• Identify and manage vulnerabilities, threats and security risks.
• Evaluate and implement security improvements and controls.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Lead Cyber Essentials Plus activities.
• Contribute to infrastructure and security projects, including solution design.
• Provide third-line support for complex security and infrastructure incidents.
• Work closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
- Experience
About You
• 10+ years' IT experience, with 5+ years in a similar role.
• Strong experience across incident response, threat monitoring and vulnerability management.
• Previous experience within a professional services environment, ideally a law firm.
• Experience with complex infrastructure environments and modern security architecture.
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune, Entra ID and Azure SSO experience.
• Experience across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Security certification such as CISSP, CEH or CCNA Security desirable.
