Security Architect & Engineering Manager

Our client, a large global law firm, is seeking a Senior Security Architect & Engineering Manager to lead platform security strategy and architecture across cloud, AI, data, and enterprise systems. Security is central to the firm, protecting critical systems and client data while enabling innovation and transformation.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead the Security Architecture team, defining standards, patterns, and principles.
• Review and approve security designs for new services, upgrades, and integrations.
• Embed security early in platform development and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, client confidentiality, and other regulations.
• Influence senior leadership on risk, architecture, and security investments.

What We’re Looking For:
• 8+ years in IT or information security with hands-on architecture experience.
• 2+ years leading a team of security architects.
• Certified (CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, or equivalent).
• Experience across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises architectures.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with global organisation experience.

Desirable:
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Additional certifications (CISM, CISA, SABSA, etc.).
• Legal or professional services experience.
