Head of Product Development


Location:  you can be based in any of the following office Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge, Chelmsford
Term: Permanent
Flexible Hybrid Working | UK Top 50 Law Firm | Strategic Tech Leadership Role


£60-65,000


Please note- *You will  be required to visit the Ipswich office 1 day per week which is expensed*



We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Product Development to join an established Law Firm. You will lead their internal software development team and drive innovation across their digital landscape.


Key responsibilities:



  • Lead and develop the Product Development Team 

  • Define and execute a product and development strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances user experience.

  • Champion best practices across DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and test automation.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver scalable, impactful digital solutions.

  • Drive the adoption of Microsoft Cloud technologies and M365 development tools including Power Automate, Logic Apps, and Canvas Apps.


About You



  • 6+ years of hands-on software development experience and 3+ years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Azure DevOps practices.

  • Expertise in .NET, C#, React/JavaScript, microservices architecture, APIs, and automation frameworks.

  • Confident communicator and team builder with a passion for delivering business-focused solutions.

  • Proven experience leading projects through the full software development lifecycle in a complex environment.
