Sandra was promoted to Senior Resource Specialist, 11 months after joining Picture More in July 2018 She focuses predominantly on roles in information & cybersecurity, as well as IT networks and infrastructure.

Sandra moved to the UK just over 10 years ago – proving she had nerves of steel as she spoke virtually no English at the time. She didn’t hang around either, quickly enrolling to study Business, Law and English at college and graduating from the University of Sussex with a degree in International Business with a professional placement year. After taking a keen interest in one of her university modules called International Human Resource Management, she went and got herself an industry mentor who suggested she should try her luck in recruitment.

Advice taken on board, Sandra secured a role post-graduation with a cybersecurity recruitment company in Hove where she was an Executive Search Consultant, sourcing high-calibre cyber and information security talent across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

It came to a point, however, that she was ready to try something new, with a focus on the UK market – Picture More aligned perfectly with her interests and previous studies and appealed in terms of its expertise in the UK legal and professional services sector.
