- Our client are a leading law firm providing a wide range of legal services to long standing clients in both public and private sector and have offices located London and other locations spread across the UK.
A opportunity has rose to recruit an enthusiastic, hard-working, organised 1st Line Technical Support Engineer to provide a blend 1st and touching on 2nd line support being the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email, qualifying and documenting the problems raised by customers. This is a junior based role but looking for someone who’s got a relevant degree or someone who has got experience in the industry, this job will be working on site Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot client support incidents, liaising with our clients over the phone, email, web-ex or on client site.
- Helping customers solve technical issues with their computers (hardware and software)
- Liaising directly with end users to resolve any problems, as directed by the Support Team
- Logging technical support requests over the telephone or by email.
- Using remote control tools and technologies to assist end users as required
- Documenting systems and procedures as implemented for and on behalf of our customers
- Great customer service skills.
- Knowledge of technology / IT terms and issues.
- Confident communicator via email, telephone and face to face.
- Desire to learn new products and technologies.
- Can-do attitude.
- Possess a logical approach to trouble shooting.
