About your role
As the UAT Test Lead, we ll look to you to ensure that system change implementations are error-free with minimal disruption to the wider operation. You ll take accountability for UAT testing strategies, creation of UAT Test plans, policies, processes & quality assurance, and UAT planning together with test analysis, design, preparation, and execution.
The successful candidate should be able to work independently and also drive results. You will be confident in building rapport and establishing strong working relationships with a range of business stakeholders at all levels.
Essential Skills:
- Strong hands-on UAT experience in defining business scenarios, writing test strategies, test preparation, planning, scheduling, execution, and coordination of test activities.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and corresponding mythologies.
- Defect management experience and familiarity with defect management tools (ALM, JIRA etc.)
- Test management experience to support Agile methodology.
- Previous Testing experience in supporting big transformation programmes.
- Prior experience of testing interfaces (internal, external SAAS, and 3rd Parties) and APIs.
- Ability to apply testing processes and terminology to practical scenarios, supported by excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of the business support functions, systems, and processes.
- ISTB or ISEB qualified
- Previously worked in a testing role within global organisation
