- We are proud to be working alongside our client, a global Accountancy Firm, who are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their business. They are based in London and offer a flexible work from home policy.
This is a hands-off position, and you will be responsible for the management of a team of 4 IT Professionals.
The firm are in the midst of a large project moving from public to private cloud, so knowledge of Azure/AWS is essential for this position.
In addition, responsibilities include:
- Work with Enterprise Architecture to implement a highly scalable, automated and available cloud platform aligned with the Future State Enterprise Architecture
- Work with Head of IT Operations to look at the future state of IT Operations
- Manage, mentor and maintain the Operations team and offering expertise and guidance on private and public cloud queries.
- Partner with Development teams, IT Security, Support and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver and maintain a cloud platform with associated DevOps practices
- Form part of the technical leadership team that will deliver the migration from on premises to Cloud services over the next 24 months
- Create the capabilities required to utilize automation practices for initializing, provisioning and optimizing systems, and facilitate infrastructure orchestration - embracing self-service and autonomy
- You have strong knowledge of Windows, Azure & AWS infrastructures
- You are passionate about innovation and love leading technological change
- Experience with all aspects of cloud service models and application delivery such as PaaS, Serverless and Containerization infrastructure
- Strong supplier management skill
