We have a fantastic opportunity for a DevOps Lead/Team Lead/Lead DevOps Engineer to join a growing professional services firm (c. 2000 users) based in Chelmsford, Essex.
You will have the opportunity to establish the tools and processes to implement a DevOps environment for the development of the firm's windows platform and application estate.
Technical requirements:
- Background in the Windows stack/Windows server platform and MS stack applications (.net/SQLserver/C#/ASP/VB.net etc)

Automation/configuration management, continuous integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), continuous build etc using tools such as:
- Puppet
- Chef
- Ansible
- CloudFormation
- Docker
- Bamboo
- Jenkins
- Knowledge and understanding of cloud infrastructure services (AWS and/or Azure)
- Management and administration experience of GIT repositories using Stash/BitBucket or GitHub
- Integration - REST API/Restful services
- Develop and promote closer working between IT operations and development
- Establish tools and processes to support an automated, reliable environment following a DevOps methodology
- Set up and maintain tools to cover software development, source control, CI/CD, code review etc
- Champion adoption of agile working practices
- Sprint planning and execution
Previous experience of leading the implementation/development of a DevOps environment
Agile expertise - Scrum/Kanban (Certified Scrum Master/CSM a bonus)
