A top-tier professional services company located in central London are looking for a rising project manager star to take on a Junior Project Manager / Delivery Lead role managing small to medium size IT projects, focussed around business/workflow efficiency technology.
The role offers an opportunity to develop your Project Management skills within an ambitious and high-pace working environment, servicing up to 6000 users in a company that is consider amongst the absolute best in the UK within its industry.
The role and responsibilities:- Managing small to medium IT projects (likely to be within £5-50K budget) and building. strong stakeholder relationships with the business and external technology suppliers.
- Cradle-to-grave/full life cycle IT projects.
- State clear project objectives and managing and motivating team members.
- Managing financial and planning aspects of the project ensuring timely and within budget delivery.
- Managing risks and other issues.
You are a good match with the role if you have:- A proactive personality, take accountability and is able to think clearly under pressure.
- Successful experience with building long-lasting relationships with fee-earners, senior management and technical teams.
- Full lifecycle experience leading smaller projects OR managing significant parts of larger projects with a high degree of accountability (as Junior Project Manager or PMO Lead).
- A track-record of delivering project work within set deadlines and budget and experience in overcoming difficult project barriers.
- An undergraduate or graduate degree and preferably also have a qualification in Project Management (Prince2, APMP etc.).
- Experience with managing/leading IT projects within professional services, legal or finance environments.
