Anyway, if you enjoy building things & are a seasoned .NET Developer then this could the role for you. I should add, it won't take 20 years to build these applications.
You'll work in the Research and Development department, it's well funded and has an innovative and skilled development team. You'll be involved in creating applications from scratch. You'll be tasked with initial requirement gathering, designing, developing, de-bugging and delivering bespoke software applications & solutions.
These applications could be used in-house or they could be sold to clients (professional services businesses). Or both! But won't be sold to aliens, or will they!?
The business are cash rich and work with large professional services businesses in the financial services sectors. They are investing heavily in technology and in particular in research and development to create applications. They have insight both internally and from their clients, and are using these expertise to create game-changing technology.
