Sharepoint Developer

I am recruiting a SharePoint Developer on behalf of an international professional services business.

The Sharepoint Developer will be responsible for: 

·Design, develop, maintain, support and deploy SharePoint solutions, workflows, and databases, and to integrate with other applications as required

·Design, creation, customization, and implementation of web services, .NET user controls, Master Pages, Event Handlers, Features and solutions to be used in a SharePoint environment

·Engage in project delivery teams to scope, design, build, test and deploy development projects

·Transition of existing and delivered services, including knowledge transfer/documentation.

·Providing timely and accurate updates on BAU items and project/development progress

Key Skills & Qualifications:

·SharePoint 2013 object model experience. Both the server-side object model and client-side object model (CSOM)

·Proven experience in analyzing, designing, developing, testing and deploying C# projects which manipulate SharePoint and web service object models

·Experience of workflow design, build and deployment

·Experience of web-based languages preferred, such as ASP.NET MVC, HTML, DHTML, PHP, JQuery, JavaScript, style sheets/CSS, XML and XSLT

·Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and in particular of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services

·Ability to write Stored Procedures, write complex SQL queries, and ability to analyze the SQL data is desired

·Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services

·Experience of Visual Studio or related IDE, and source control applications

·Knowledge of security standards and techniques for web applications

·Good understanding of business process automation

·Knowledge of project life cycle (PRINCE2 or equivalent)

·Familiarity with ITIL
