An opportunity has arisen to work within an international, Top-Tier law firm based in Central London. The firm are ranked as one of the largest law firms in the UK by revenue and have driven business throughout Europe, The Middle East, Asia and beyond.
The duty of the 2nd line Desktop Support analyst role is to provide users with support and technical resolution for the firm’s desktop environment.
About the role :
- Analyse and resolve customer technical problems involving multiple technologies and platforms.
- Participate and advise in the definition of desktop and applications standards, images, processes, and policy governance to improve technical services.
- Participate in project work as required.
- Installation of new machines / move existing machines/change an existing hardware / software component in a machine
- Perform Hardware refresh activities
- Backing up required hard drive files
- Mobile phones setup and user coaching.
- Provide hands/eyes assistance with any AV/Datacentre related issues
Technical skills required:
· Filesite (iManage)
· Elite 3E
· Azure
· Office 365
· Dynamics CRM
· Carpe Diem
· Citrix
Experience:
- Broad software application skills desired.
- Prior experience with a ticketing system strongly preferred.
- Solid experience with Windows operating systems and hardware in a computer support related setting; experience working in a networked environment.
- Working knowledge of ITIL service management processes is highly advantageous.
This role will be working on a shift rota between the hours of 8am-8pm.
